Facts Not Opinions
7 stops · 1 h 30 min · 3 km
Southwark is where Victorian London went to find out how things break — and, a few hundred metres away, how people do. Seven stops built around a hinge: an operating theatre sealed up and forgotten for ninety-four years, a debtors' prison that starved three hundred people in three months, and the man who carved FACTS NOT OPINIONS over his door and tested the wreckage of the Tay Bridge. About an hour and a half, station at each end, and it walks from either one.
Walk it either way
There is a station at each end, so this walk works in both directions — the guide reorders the route and retells the stops to match the way you are going.
